Fall of the biggest French IT company

By newsezee.com Feb 11, 2024

There have been two major French IT companies that have experienced significant falls in recent years:

  • Capgemini: In 2020, Capgemini’s share price fell by over 30% due to concerns about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on its business. However, the company has since recovered and its share price is now higher than it was before the pandemic.
  • Atos: In 2023, Atos’ share price fell by over 50% after the company issued a profit warning. Atos is facing a number of challenges, including declining revenue from its traditional IT outsourcing business and increased competition from cloud computing companies.

It is important to note that both Capgemini and Atos are still major players in the IT industry, and their share prices may recover in the future. However, their recent falls highlight the challenges that even large IT companies can face.
